The name of the event, “The Daughters of Ada,” is inspired by Ada Lovelace, an English mathematician who is considered the first computer programmer. Lovelace was a visionary woman who made significant contributions to the development of technology. It aims to inspire women to follow in Lovelace’s footsteps and achieve their goals in the technology industry.

The Daughters of Ada Logo

At the heart of our event, “The Daughters of Ada,” lies our visual identity, represented by a unique and meaningful mandala. This mandala is not just a symbol; it is a visual expression of our core values and our mission of female empowerment in technology.

In its essence, the mandala represents the intersection of paths, where different trajectories converge to create a harmonious and balanced pattern. Just as women in the field of technology bring with them a variety of experiences, skills, and perspectives, our mandala celebrates the richness that arises from diversity. Additionally, each element within the mandala symbolizes mutual support among women, highlighting that together we are stronger. By uniting our voices, experiences, and talents, we create a support network that strengthens each of us, enabling us to achieve our goals and aspirations with greater confidence and determination.
