How was the YOD Foundation established?
After the cyber attacks experienced in Costa Rica in 2022, there was a recognized urgent need to establish a foundation from civil society, with the support of organizations interested in promoting cybersecurity and digital education.
The YoD Foundation is an entity that provides guidance and advice through experts, using clear and accessible language, to assist in the process of technological updating and digital hygiene. This assistance can range from understanding the risks to implementing solutions.
Cybersecurity is not only the responsibility of the government or businesses but of the entire society. A joint effort is required to create a culture of Cybersecurity.
