In a constantly evolving world, technology plays a fundamental role in shaping society and the economy. The Central American region is no stranger to this reality, having become an increasing focus of investment and technological development in recent years. However, the path to innovation and progress is not without challenges.
Every technological project, regardless of its scope and magnitude, carries inherent risks that can sometimes lead to unfavorable outcomes. These failed projects not only represent a significant loss of resources, time, and effort, but they can also have a negative impact on the trust of the technology community and the adoption of innovative solutions.
Our research collects cases of failed technology projects in the Central American region, with the aim of learning from lived experiences.
Our project aims to:
Identify and analyze the factors contributing to technological failures, as well as improvement opportunities arising from these experiences. Our goal is to build a knowledge repository that serves as a valuable resource for the technology community in the region, helping it avoid common mistakes, minimize risks, and maximize success in future projects.
